What is BPW?
BPW Auckland is part of a world wide organisation of working women who meet once a month over dinner to socialise, network, discuss issues concerning them and hear from interesting speakers.
The club also empowers other women through strategic activities locally, nationally and internationally - including contributing to funding permanent BPW representatives in the United Nations.

- To work for equal opportunities and status for all women in economic, civil and political life.
- To work for the removal of discrimination.
- To encourage women and girls to acquire education and vocational training.
- To stimulate and encourage in women a realization and acceptance of their responsibilities to the community locally, nationally and internationally.
- To promote worldwide friendship, co-operation and understanding amongst business and professional women.
- To collect and present the views of business and professional women to Parliament and organisations nationally and internationally.

Dinner meetings are held on the 3rd Tuesday monthly
- at Barrycourt Convention Centre, Gladstone
Road, Parnell beginning at 6.00 pm. There is
a main meal, dessert, coffee and a guest speaker - total cost $32.00 for
members and $35.00 for guests. The cost of cold/alcoholic drinks is not
included.
You are welcome to come to three meetings before you decide to join. To join there is an application fee of $35.00 and an annual subscription of $100.00: funding local, national and international work to empower women
